The position

The Credit Controller reports directly to the Head of Working Capital and will have full responsibility and ownership for the company’s collection process. We are seeking for an enthusiastic, communicative and result driven individual with a passion for cash who brings added value and is able and eager to deliver strong collection results.

You are responsible for timely collection of trade receivables and handling all communication relating to cash collection. Besides the daily routines, there is a strong focus on improving/automating processes.

Your responsibilities

  • Pro-actively approach clients regarding unpaid invoices
  • Cash forecasting
  • Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO
  • Ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures are followed
  • Organize monthly debtor meetings with the Business Units
  • Support Business Units in researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Support Business Units with data management
  • Managing general NL-Credit Control e-mail box
  • Produce reports and analysis of Accounts Receivables
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits
  • Support in enhancing the credit control process and procedures
  • If necessary, support colleagues in the Finance department

Who are we looking for:

  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient in credit control and debt collection
  • 3+ years of experience in credit control
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Experience in the Trust, Accountancy or Legal services industry is an advantage.
