JOB DESCRIPTION - Data Steward (Data Quality Team)

Data quality team (DQT) is a centralized team based in India chartered to provide world-class data quality capabilities aimed at improving the usefulness & compliance of our business data. We employ standardized processes, methods to ensure the quality of our data meets high standards required for reporting, analysis and decision making.

Candidate Overview

We are looking for Senior Data Steward (CoSec) who is highly motivated and has cleared Foundation in Company Secretary. The optimal candidate must have excellent excel skills and exhibit a strong interest in applying technology solutions to bring in efficiencies and productivity gains in projects.

Job Requirements

Entity Management System

  • Setting up of entities, maintenance & remediation of data and document upload in application
  • Actively maintain and manage the corporate record to support all transactions

Other Key Responsibilities

  • Should acquire good knowledge of the predefined project process
  • Should deploy first-time right approach and ensure proper checks while doing the process to avoid rework
  • Ensure all the project performance trackers are updated on-time without any deviation
  • Ensure process is audit complaint by adhering to process guidelines
  • Ensure to follow the process as per the procedure document
  • Maintaining and managing 100% accuracy in all the deliverables
  • Meeting all the prescribed deadlines for daily, weekly monthly and yearly activities assigned in the process
  • Should master the task and perform a Quality check
  • Co-ordinate and complete the tasks with the team members
  • Support Leads in preparing and maintaining MIS

  • Excellent level in computer skills, using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), SharePoint
  • Prior experience on Blueprint entity management system is an added advantage

CoSec Skills

  • Assisting in maintaining all corporate books and records for a portfolio of companies - Review of File
  • Maintain necessary corporate documents including but not limited to AGM, EGM, board resolutions, board minutes, agreements, liquidations and striking off
  • Maintaining constitutional documents and statutory records / share registrar including but not limited to dividend payments, change of Directors / Shareholders
  • Perform client administration duties
  • Prepare & review of tasks that an Associate is expected to perform

Education & Experience

  • Graduation / Post Graduation from a recognized university  
  • Minimum Foundation Level cleared for Company Secretary
  • Any certificate courses relating to Data quality is an added advantage
  • Relevant Corporate Secretarial experience – 6 months+
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant work experience
