The Position
Intertrust Management Ireland Limited is seeking a Head of Depositary Services (Trustee) – PCF35, a leadership role within the Intertrust Depositary team. This is a unique opportunity for a professional, collaborative and enthusiastic person with ambitions to contribute to the strategic direction of Intertrust’s funds services line in Ireland.
Deliverables
Main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Drive the development, implementation and evaluation of the Despositary Administration business in Intertrust Ireland.
Contribute to the development and implementation of Risk Management strategy, policy and procedures for the Intertrust business having specific regards for the Depositary requirements.
Ensure that risk management policies and procedures are implemented within the Depositary business to agreed strategy and standards.
Oversee on-boarding of new clients, ensuring high level of client satisfaction in service and quality deliverables from the Depositary team.
Work with the different business channels to grow the Depositary business.
Contribute to the fund services annual budget & forecast setting process
Build and develop the Depositary team using all resources available at Intertrust to achieve success.
Oversee various Depositary projects such as systems enhancements and process improvements.
Own and develop the Depositary Services function, acting as a primary contact and reporting back to senior management and stakeholders.
Demonstrate effective leadership and management in accordance with Intertrust Group values and with agreed policies and procedures which are compliant with current laws and regulations.
Work within the funds service line globally and support both the global and local strategy with regard to Depositary Services.
Travel as required for both business and operations development.
Required knowledge and experience
Minimum 5+ years experience in Depositary Services in a senior manager role or above.
Third-level degree with a preference for finance, accounting, or similar business/numerical discipline.
Deep understanding of the Irish funds industry, local regulatory environment, AIFMD and competitor landscape.
Relevant experience within the Alternative Investment Funds space with specific knowledge of private capital investments, closed ended. structures and documents.
