Client Solutions Delivery Assistant Manager

The Client Solutions Delivery Team is responsible for numerous revenue-generating client services which have been centralised into a team of specialists who service the whole Guernsey business. These services include (but are not limited to) company secretarial work, client onboarding, fiduciary investment reviews, AEOI reporting, periodic file reviews, maintenance and updating of client databases.

The position

Reporting to the Client Solutions Delivery Manager, the Assistant Manager undertakes the full range of Client Solutions Delivery processes, ensuring that compliance, internal rules and the various laws and regulations pertaining to the Group’s Guernsey regulatory licences are adhered to.

As an Assistant Manager, you will be expected to undertake any such duties that are deemed a reasonable requirement, for example, managing any relevant projects that are related to the role.  In addition, you will be required to participate in business and social events organised for management and staff.

Your responsibilities

  • To work as part of the Client Solutions Delivery (CSD) team, ensuring all tasks are followed through to completion accurately and in a timely manner;
  • Assist the Manager to ensure tasks delegated to other members of the team are completed accurately and in a timely manner;   
  • Liaise, assist and provide advice to the wider business on all CSD procedure matters, as and when required;
  • Provide on the job training and guidance for less experienced members of the Team;
  • Completing and assisting with periodic file reviews of clients, and the updating and closure of action points;
  • Preparing client onboarding packs for presentation to the Client Acceptance Committee;
  • Assisting with AEOI reporting where required, and with reasonableness checks of self-certification forms;
  • Assisting with company secretarial tasks where required;
  • Checking overnight screening software for any hits against client database;
  • In the absence of the Manager, liaise with Associate Directors and Directors on all CSD matters;
  • Review CSD team procedures and processes and recommend changes to achieve greater efficiencies as appropriate;
  • Support a strong communication ethos between Management and team members to encourage staff to communicate effectively;
  • Proactively keep an up-to-date awareness of current industry issues e.g.  changes in legislation.

Your profile

  • Evidence relevant experience in regulated finance or professional services, with the most recent post being at supervisory level;
  • Must be able to demonstrate sound organisation, time management skills and supervisory experience;
  • Must be able to present clear and concise information to a broad audience;
  • Qualified by experience or hold a professional qualification such as STEP, ICSA
  • Demonstrable IT technical skills;
  • Drive personal development using all the resources available.
