The position

Are you looking to kick start your career in marketing and events and be part of a fast paced international firm in the financial services industry? Do you have great attention to detail, love marketing and events and possess excellent writing skills? We are looking for a marketing and events assistant to join our global marketing team.

Your responsibilities

This exciting and diverse role will support a growing team in their marketing and event activities, gaining exposure to projects in multiple marketing channels and regions across the globe.

Assist the Global Events Manager on our key global events throughout the year:

  • Manage and maintain guest lists for our global events
  • Create, write and send event invitations using our mailing system
  • Logistical support with event execution
  • Administration of our CRM
  • Event venue and supplier research

Support regional offices and service lines to execute their marketing and events strategy:

  • Create, order and coordinate the distribution of marketing materials
  • Logistical support with event execution; potential to manage own events
  • Create and format presentations for the business
  • Write social media postings

Who are we looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Keen interest in marketing & events, ideally professional or academic qualifications (or willingness to study)
  • 1-3 years’ work experience
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • System savvy
