At Intertrust Group we are seeking to expand our successful Global Relationship Practice in the US and Europe. We are therefore looking for a Global Relationship Manager to join the team in Amsterdam.

The position

In this role you will be responsible for all commercial aspects of the relationship between Intertrust Group and allocated clients and their business partners, in line with client specific and GRM team aggregated budgets.

As the Global Relationship Manager you will be responsible for identifying, developing and closing new revenue opportunities with assigned clients with a global mandate, and alongside their other business partners, by coordinating and promoting the entire range of Intertrust Group products and services, with a focus on technology solutions as in line with our strategy. 

Furthermore, you will lead the account planning process for allocated clients and help to co-ordinate all stakeholders in the relationship, including Exco members, Service Line Leads, Global Sales, Global Marketing as well as operational client service teams in all relevant locations.

Your responsibilities

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel of all seniority levels in assigned customer accounts via “rhythm of business” approach to internal and client facing meetings
  • Develop clear understanding of Intertrust Group’s strategy and communicate effectively to allocated clients in relation to products, services and technology seeking to maximize effectiveness through collaboration
  • Proactively lead a strategic account planning process that identifies client needs / pain points, propose solutions and develop client relationships in line with financial targets and strategic targets
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet, (with ambition to exceed) account performance objectives and customers’ expectations
  • Meet assigned targets for sales and maintain overall responsibility and accountability for ensuring other strategic objectives in assigned accounts are achieved and reported
  • Initiate improvement proposals focused on creating new business (e.g. new sales channels, additional/new products/services etc.)
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate client needs on an ongoing basis
  • Execute sales conversations with new as well as existing GRM client portfolio (non-competitor) Business Partners in order to maintain and increase market share and realize the sales objectives
  • Keep up with movements of competitors, developments and trends as well as client demands in the market, taking into account the current product/service portfolio and (commercial) interests of Intertrust Group, in order to gain optimal insights in (developments in) the market and identify opportunities within their assigned client portfolio
  • Work together with other Intertrust Group offices worldwide on cross-border marketing and client event initiatives as required

  • Retention of allocated clients
  • Revenue growth of allocated clients (measured by Annual Contract Value of sales in InterAct)
  • Client Delight (measured by independent client satisfaction surveys)

Your profile

  • At least 5 years’ experience in relationship management with demonstrable track record achieving or exceeding sales / revenue targets and growing business within existing (global) strategic accounts with over $1M of existing renewable revenue
  • Degree qualified (bachelor’s degree required, Master’s/MBA preferred)
  • Good experience with successful interactions at C-Suite level
  • Project management experience and direct involvement with complex technology implementations
