Payables Manager

The Payables Manager has responsibility to support the day to day accounting function of Intertrust Cayman, supervising the Financial Associate/Assistant Financial Associate, and having ownership of regulatory payables, exception reports and billing.

The Role

  • Manage payments and filings to the regulatory authorities
  • Ensure all regulatory deadlines are met
  • Summarize all outstanding regulatory fees to follow up on
  • Preparing for the annual bill run in conjunction with the Billing manager
  • Responsible for managing and clearing the exception reports
  • Responsible for completing the penalty bill runs, reminders and final notices
  • Responsible for supervising and managing the billing inbox and all payment requests to regulatory bodies
  • Support the Assistant Financial Controller and Business Unit Directors by providing supporting reports, issuing reminder notices to clients with overdue balances and participation in final notice process.
  • Work closely with Assistant Financial Controller and Finance Analyst to improve payable processes
  • Supervision and mentoring of Financial Associate/Assistant Financial Associate

Do you have what our clients want?

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting or business-related subject and 5 years of accounting experience or,
  • An Associates degree in accounting or business-related subject and 10 years of accounting experience
  • Experience in management of regulatory (CIMA and ROC) and third-party payables
  • Experience in successfully liaising with clients via telephone, email and face to face meetings
  • Experience in successfully working as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with NavOne, ViewPoint and Laserfiche software is advantageous
