Sr Client Accountant

The position

 

The Client Accountant is responsible for the preparation and review of financial statements for Special Purpose Vehicles, investment holding companies, operational companies and private investment funds.

 

Your responsibilities

 

         Prepare and maintain financial statements and accounting records for special purpose vehicles, investment holding companies, and operational companies

          

         Liaise with clients, investment managers, auditors, tax preparers and other external parties as needed

          

         Provide review and oversight of accounts prepared by onshore and offshore colleagues

          

         Preparation and review of Bureau of Economic Analysis filings

          

         Execute wires on behalf of clients

          

         Action and complete the day to day administration and management of client relationships to ensure client satisfaction and effective service delivery

          

         Participate in commercial expansion of the accounting business

          

         Maintain all compliance and regulatory requirements including collection of KYC, periodic client file reviews and call-backs

          

         Provide support to colleagues as required

          

         Lead/assist with ad hoc projects as necessary

 

 

Your profile

         Bachelors Degree in accounting or related field of study

         5+ years accounting experience

         CPA strongly preferred

         Awareness of Anti Money Laundering principles, relevant local regulations and best practices

         In-dept knowledge of accounting principles with the ability tot maintain awareness of local international issues impacting the industry

         Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work well under pressure

         Excellent organization & communication skills

         Full MS Office knowledge
