Technical Attributes

·       Practical experience and knowledge of the application of KYC regulations to a wide variety of client structures including private equity and real estate funds

·       Able to apply the relevant Jersey regulatory requirements and internal procedures/processes for the on-boarding and re-assessment of clients

·       Provide support to and after a period of time manage your CDD colleagues in the KYC aspects of on-boarding and re-assessment of client entities

·       Be able to advise risk committee members on relevant risk factors and other pertinent issues for derogations away from standard KYC requirements

·       Pro-actively keep up-to-date awareness of local regulatory issues/changes and make recommendations for changes and updates to internal procedures as appropriate


Client Care

·       Build and maintain good working relationships with the client facing teams (your 'clients'), directors, local compliance and centre of excellence compliance teams

·       Provide guidance to client teams when required on the take-on and re-assessment of client matters, including but not limited to participating in presentations/training sessions as required

·       Provide support and assistance to compliance on project work as and when required

·       Assist in the preparation of reports for senior management, in-house companies and local/group compliance as required

·       Able to work to tight deadlines in accurate and time efficient manner

People & Team

·       Manage and assist with the co-ordination and completion of daily CDD team tasks to meet business needs

·       Take an active role in the training, performance and management of junior CDD team members and client facing staff

·       Provide new, innovative ideas on how to improve the efficiencies of daily tasks

·       Drive personal development using all the resources available at Intertrust to achieve success


·       Self motivated and able to work in a demanding, pressured environment to tight targets/deadlines


Skills & Expertise

·       Experience in a similar role including managing tasks and a small team

·       Studying towards/hold a professional qualification, ideally ICA/ICSA at diploma level

·       Prioritise tasks independently & use own initiative

·       Strong academic background

·       Be pro active and forward thinking

·       Broad understanding of the wide range of Fiduciary products offered by Intertrust
