As Business Analyst, you will join The Global Digital Implementation Team, which is highly involved in the technology & innovation work stream and instrumental in the journey to become a leading tech-enabled company. The team has introduced a new way of working to design, develop and implement a software platform that replaces the old way of working. They are launching a digitized environment, with the aim to move towards increased automation in the near future.
The first activities in the transaction’s category have been built and these are being rolled out to all our operational offices around the world working with colleagues from Singapore to Curacao.
As Business Analyst, you will guide the transformation from the current process to the new platform including all new features in the future for all our jurisdictions, working closely with colleagues from design, development and of your own team. The activities range from discussing the way of working with the business, analyzing the regulatory and compliance guidelines, configurate the jurisdiction specific requirements, support jurisdictions in updating their processes, liaising with other departments to solve and prevent issues, giving training and support. Very diverse and challenging.
We would expect you to be eager to learn new skills and you have the ability to quickly pick up new processes and technology. Within Intertrust you are the initiator of innovations and the driver behind improvements. You are working closely together with business and IT stakeholders to define new solutions, for all Intertrust jurisdictions globally. Successful candidate will apply their functional expertise as their technical skill to achieve the expected results.
Work together with the business to capture their requirements from a legal, regulatory and operational perspective
Gathering information from multiple stakeholders and critically evaluating and challenge the input to find the optimal solution;
Facilitate and follow-up on workshops, using modern communication technologies, with the business stakeholders
Collaborate with the Design, Development and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and release of new functionalities to the end users
Support test activities, communication and application training to the business
Be the point of contact for questions regarding the implementation project and act as the bridge between the business and the Product (design & development) teams
Support the jurisdictions in defining and adapting their new processes
Work with the project manager, business analysts and implementation leads to make the project a success
Continuously looking and implementing improvement initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, IT or related studies;
At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably international financial services or capital markets industry;
Interested in both the business as well as the technical aspects of projects;
Knowledge of related laws and regulations and a good understanding of applying the GRC (Governance Risk & Compliance) requirements
Strong communication skills and fluent in English (written and spoken)
Experience in (application) implementation projects with international exposure
A personality and capabilities to optimally function within an Agile Change environment
