Legal Secretary

Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships by providing executive level, confidential secretarial and administrative support to the Partners and Associates of Intertrust Law.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide general secretarial support to attorneys, including drafting general correspondence, documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations
  • Assist with various government filings, using platforms such as REEFS, Judicial Administration, CORIS and the DITC portal
  • Assist attorneys with preparing legal precedents
  • Liaise with fee earners as necessary with respect to finance and billing
  • Organise and manage paperwork and documents
  • Respond to and field internal/external telephone and email enquiries
  • Prepare court bundles and documents to conform with Court's requirements
  • Arrange meetings and business travel itineraries

Ideal Candidate

  • Undergraduate degree and/or five years’ relevant experience
  • Above average typing speed
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Previous experience with government filing platforms such as REEFS, Judicial Administration, CORIS and the DITC portal strongly desired
  • Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise, manage workload and meet tight deadlines
  • Flexibility to work outside normal office hours as necessary
