As Billing Officer, you play a critical role in the success of our business, maintaining and providing strength to Intertrust Group’s brand position

The position
The successful candidate will be responsible for the billing function, ensuring the accurate processing of invoice related client master data (new clients and changes in existing contracts) and ensuring timely and accurate client billing including credit notes. Liaising with and supporting Partners and Associates as necessary to maintain best financial practices within the firm. The position combines hands-on experience with outstanding opportunities for personal and professional growth

Your responsibilities

  • Owner of the billing process
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing including credit notes
  • Monitor WIP balances and ensure that WIP is invoiced in a timely manner
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of new client contracts and change in client services
  • Process annual indexation of client contracted fees
  • Maintain client master data management
  • Providing support and guidance to the Business Units in researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Manage Finance email inboxes
  • Create, implement and maintain processes and document workflow efficiencies
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits
  • Support in Month End Close process (complete all requests and/or determine accrual)

Your profile

  • Have a Accounting, Economics or equivalent
  • Have at least 4 years of experience within a similar finance role
  • Ability to prioritize, manage workload and deliver best work when facing tight deadlines
  • Advanced Excel skills and general proficiency in using other Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skill
  • Effective critical analysis
  • Want to succeed, grow, be challenged and challenge others.
  • Are fluent in English, written and spoken;
  • Experience with SAP S4 hana and Laserfiche software is an advantage
  • Experience in financial services a plus
