The position

Your responsibilities

•    Provide technical and practical support to the Acceptance Committee and the service line teams in respect of the client take-on and re-assessment of client structures 
•    Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the on-boarding and CDD processes, to include the service line leads for on-boarding and CDD, the CDD SME’s, Compliance, Acceptance Committee members and the Operations Management Team. 
•    Possess an in-depth knowledge of a wide variety of client structures including funds and private wealth
•    Provide guidance to the service line teams when required on the application of relevant KYC procedures and processes to their clients, including but not limited to participating in presentations/training sessions as required
•    Pro-actively maintain an up to date awareness of local regulatory issues/changes and make recommendations for changes and updates to internal procedures as appropriate
•    Consider regulatory issues at all times and report any concerns to senior management as appropriate
•    Prepare reports for senior management, in-house companies and local/group Compliance as required
•    Provide new, innovative ideas on how to improve the efficiencies of daily tasks and contribute to team meetings and internal committees
•    Support your line manager by providing regular feedback and assisting with project work and other management tasks as required Drive marketing’s understanding of country/regional challenges 

Your profile

•    Experience in a similar role
•    Strong academic record with a JFSC recognized professional qualification (ICSA/STEP/ICA) 
•    Expert knowledge of local AML/CFT regulation and legislation for TCBs
•    Able to formulate, consider and select the most appropriate solutions 
•    Good time management with the ability to work efficiently and independently
•    Effective communicator with proven management skills 
•    A great command of English and you speak fluently to clients, partners and colleagues alike; 
•    Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple demands in a fast-paced environment is essential; 
•    Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks, meet deadlines and work well under pressure; 
•    A proactive approach to everyday tasks and team-oriented person;
