Location: Amsterdam (hybrid 60/40)

The Position 

 
We are looking for a CDD Analyst to join our CDD team within The Netherlands. The CDD team is responsible for all customer due diligence related matters in cooperation with the client facing colleagues from the client units as well as the Center of Excellence in India.  

As CDD Analyst you will be working on client acceptance files of which process management and quality assurance are important aspects of the role. You will be monitoring timelines and the progress of the client acceptance file.  


Your Responsibilities 

  • Working (independently)* on the specified part of the review of the CDD files, as assigned by the CDD Team Lead; 

  • Responsible for a specified part of the CDD files, both from a process management and quality perspective; 

  • Pro-actively updating the Senior CDD Analyst and the CDD Team Lead on the progress of the CDD file review and reaching out in case of questions, remarks or issues for escalation; 

  • Monitoring timelines and the progress of the CDD file review and (supporting) client outreach; 

  • Updating all relevant systems and applications, such as ViewPoint, Laserfiche and Fastlane in accordance with the applicable policies, procedures and work instructions; 

  • Performing high quality CDD reviews in line with applicable legislation, policies and procedures; 

  • Monthly completion of the number of files agreed on with the CDD Team Lead; 

  • Able to plan and organize their own activities; 

  • Coaching and providing feedback to other members of the CDD team; 

  • Making proposals for training and improvement of processes and content development. 

*Level of independence is dependent on the experience and seniority level of the CDD analyst. 

Your Profile 

  • 3-5 years working experience 

  • Experience with KYC/CDD activities 

  • Bachelor or master's degree in law or other relevant degree, which provides a sound basis for a CDD Analyst role in connection with relevant working experience in the field of KYC/CDD

  • In-depth knowledge, or interest to gain in-depth knowledge, in legislation, regulations and procedures, in particular Wtt 2018, Wwft and Sanctions Law 1977 

  • Excellent fluency in English, both verbal and in writing 

  • Good drafting and planning skills 

  • Pragmatic, but critical approach, attention to detail and problem-solving mentality 

  • If applicable: interested to move to the Netherlands for the role

Preferred 

  • Experience in the trust industry 

  • Residing in the Netherlands 

  • Understanding and speaking Dutch
