Location: Amsterdam (hybrid 60/40)

The Position 

We are looking for a CDD Team Lead to join our CDD Team within The Netherlands. The CDD Team is responsible for all customer due diligence related compliance matters in cooperation with the client facing colleagues from the client teams as well as the Center of Excellence in India.  


As Team Lead you will be working with your team on CDD file reviews. Process management, planning and quality assurance are important aspects of the role. You will be monitoring timelines and progress of the client acceptance file. 


Your Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for the quality of the completed CDD file reviews; 

  • Responsible for the planning and monthly completion of the number of CDD file reviews in line with budget, as agreed on with the Client Teams and the CDD Team Director; 

  • Responsible for managing the team members; 

  • Responsible for managing the education of the CDD Team; 

  • Responsible for the contact between the CDD Team and the Client Team, as well as other relevant stakeholders; 

  • Stakeholder and progress reporting; 

  • Responsible for managing the client outreach process. Client outreach will be timely, client friendly, to-the-point, and minimized in both number of times and numbers of questions; 

  • Contributing to the improvement dialogue of processes and procedures. 


Your Profile  


You are a team player, a strong self-starter who acts proactively, you can make realistic, and sound (legal) decisions and you are result driven. 

  • 7+ years working experience;

  • Experience with KYC/CDD activities;

  • Bachelor or master's degree in law or other relevant degree, which provides a sound basis for a CDD Team Lead role in connection with relevant working experience in the field of KYC/CDD;

  • Excellent fluency in English, both verbal and in writing; 

  • Good drafting and planning skills;

  • Pragmatic, but critical approach, attention to detail and problem-solving mentality; 

  • If applicable: interested to move to the Netherlands for the role .



  •  Experience in the trust industry; 

  • Residing in the Netherlands;

  • Understanding and speaking Dutch.
