File Review Manager - Operations

Your responsibilities
- Ensuring consistent standards of file reviews are applied across all service lines
- Provision of regular business review and information to all local boards and management teams as appropriate
- Maintenance and development of an effective business review function, attending meetings and events as required
- Performance of client file reviews in accordance with procedure and ensuring active monitoring and follow up across all business areas
- Supporting Compliance in the development of monitoring plans, the collation of management information to support those plans and the implementation of compliance monitoring-specific review topics
Managing the File Review team to:
- deliver matter reviews in accordance with the annual plan agreed with senior management
- set objectives, undertake appraisals, manage absence, and participate in the bonus and salary setting processes, as required by senior management
- Be approachable and accessible to review team members and internal clients, offering guidance and development when required and assist in any training needs
- Take care of and establish good relationships with all suppliers, team members and clients
- Identifying and working with all stakeholders in the file review process to enhance the team profile and develop the services offered, within available resource
- Drive personal development using all the resources available at Intertrust to achieve success
- Accurately record all time spent dealing with client matters to ensure the clients are correctly invoiced and ensure that the matter review team do likewise
- Provide innovative ideas on how to improve the efficiencies of daily tasks, the file review process and delivery of matter review reporting
- Promoting the highest standards of client service, administration and record keeping consistent with regulatory requirements and best practice
Your profile
- Effective communicator and strong relationship management skills
- Good time management and ability to work under pressure
- Must be committed and driven to achieving excellence for themselves and their client
- Ability to formulate, consider and select the most appropriate solutions
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team
- Relevant experience within fiduciary services
- Hold at least a diploma level of ICSA/STEP
- Have a good knowledge of the regulatory requirements affecting trust company business and fund services business
- Have sound business judgement and ability to assess risk
- Have excellent IT and organisational skills
- Be adaptable and flexible in approach
