As the Business Unit Manager for Payroll & HR Services you will be a vital part of our Danish management team, driving payroll services growth and will lead team delivering best in class payroll services.
The position
The Business Unit Manager for Payroll & HR Services report to the Corporate Service Lead for Denmark. You will be part of the Payroll & HR team, consisting of 5 highly skilled and motivated colleagues with diverse skillsets. You will lead by example and are not afraid of getting your hands dirty with running payrolls and leading your team with payroll deliverables.
You are a communicator and can build strong bridges across teams, manage client expectations, and maintain business partner relationships. You are a visionary who can recommend strategies to grow payroll services in Denmark, as well as strategies to work with the other Payroll teams across the Nordics to modernize our payroll offering.
Your responsibilities
- Responsible for full scope of payroll services and tasks
- Manage/support team of highly skilled payroll professionals with daily payroll operations
- Processing and reviewing of client payrolls
- Optimization of payroll processes
- Advising clients on payroll related queries
- Work towards achieving budgeted revenue for payroll services
- Maintain relationships with payroll business partners and vendors
- Networking to expand our market on payroll services in Denmark
Your profile
- Understanding the value of a coordinating role that works in cross-business areas of Payroll, HR, Finance, Legal and Compliance
- 6-10 years’ experience in processing multi-client payrolls in a Business Process Outsourcing environment
- Relevant education or qualifications can be within e.g. Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or HR. Both lower and higher levels of education can be relevant depending on your experience
- Strong social skills necessary for leadership in teams, client relations, and with management
- Experience with Epos is a strong advantage, but not a requirement
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English and Danish, both written and verbal
